Research
My research sits at the intersection of migration, disability/debility, and care, primarily through my doctoral work on Panjabi families navigating care for kin with cognitive and developmental differences across Panjab and British Columbia.

Alongside that, my research has moved across several connected areas: substance use and mental health in Panjabi communities, aging and technology among South Asian older adults, and community history and cultural memory. Running through all of it is a commitment to community-engaged, arts-based, and multilingual methods, developed first through the Panjabi-Centred Design framework.
